I have had the occasional drive around and been playing with the tuning of the Ford motor, - I don't know why

- as I plan to restore to original, and that means a 2F, which doesn't make me too excited. I must say the Ford Falcon 4,1 (cross-flow head) goes really well now, but still has a bit of a miss at very high revs. It uses both petrol and LPG gas. I don't know the petrol vs gas economy figures as I've never filled up gas, it's still got gas from Oz. so that's the main reason that I haven't started the resto as I've had this dilemma (not Malema) of what motor to use.
I do have a 2F, but it's not in good nick although it was running when I got it, but think it's got a dropped valve. I would prefer getting a better 2F with all the bits.
I made a parts wish list today that goes on forever, this is going to be big bucks (Dollars).
Three things I need is 1) a radiator fan cowl/shroud. 2) the other is a complete air Filter pot, tubing etc from a 2F 40/45 series preferably 80/84 model, and 3) a std front bumper, mine has a Bull bar that will come off, if anyone has this stuff or knows where I can get them I would appreciate it.
I don't want to start the stripping until I have 95% or more of all the parts needed and hopefully a 2F ready to fire-up. (like the one in JB's workshop right now

, and anyway it's quite drivable as it is now.
The rear axle/diff still has to be overhauled as well as the transfer box. Front axle is done.
I have been given another set of the striped OME LX seats, care of Mr K Richardson

and hopefully between the 2 sets I can have a complete like new set as part of the 100% original resto.
Then it's the body work!!!
