Now that the wife has given me some time off - I'm back in the workshop, and time to assemble the 2F
After receiving the sub-assembly (crank, conrods and pistons) back from the Engineers, (last year)

I fitted a new cam, and then the valve gear cover and sump (oil pan)
Time to turn over the block.



I used "Comp Cam" engine break-in additive on the cam lobes and the New lifters.


Lifting the head into position,

and all torgued up

Everything is new, All valves, valve springs, valve retainers, cotters cam, cam lifters, pistons, rings, and bearings etc - nothing spared. And all genuin Toyota Parts
