Very nice. That indicator lever made of metal? That rear bumper looks like it belonged to Oom Guy Boardman

Bought an Alternator and busy making up new pulley to suit and adjusting bracket. Had some crusty old thing on before with wrong pulley and not ligning up ,was the Rev limiter . Rev it a bit much and off the belt would come . Removed front sprongs ,stripped and sanding down blades ,going to remove 2 blades ,will paint ,grease and reassemble with new shackle bushes .

Rob, do not alter the rear lights yet. Might get lucky in the US. Your lights seem to be original and were used only on trucks for certain countries. Vic, my contact, said he already saw them, but must search again!

Thanks Adolf for that update on lights will hold fire on cutting ,I enquired from roadworthy people here ,they dont accept 1 light doing all three fuctions ,Tail and Brake have to be Red and Indicator Orange ,so this maybe explains why some of these had my style of light . Keith ,That Valve was for trailer brakes ,Had a signal line from brake master cyl ,and looking at valve ,at some stage looks like it had a lever mounted on that splined shaft ,was still all plumbed in when i bought it ,even the line to tow hitch ,one obviously had to bleed the trailer brakes every time one connected up .Someone suggested this cruiser was prolly a milatary spec .as it has a water tank and extra fuel tank too .

Looking good, still a pity you had to fit the newer lights. Is it not possible to fit a newer top plate on the gearbox? I think that is where the switch is located.

Thanks JT .Will try to find a newer model top cover remember this is the old 3 speed box .did the later 3 speed boxes come out with reverse switch .the law comes into affect here 1 Dec .about reverse lights, ( maybe the reasoning is that one must be able to see when one has to reverse out of the pothole when its too big to negotiate ) we also not allowed tinted windows either in Dec .
