Some info from Mud

I've seen floor shift top cover plates with no provision for the back up switch.

The floor shift was a option from Toyota since the early sixties. The reverse light started with 68 models. Pretty sure before that there was no provision for a reverse light switch

Floorshift trucks that had them have a screw hole on the back side of the top shift plate on the tranny (a standard spark plug fits the hole). My FJ45 came with a floor shift (retrofitted), and since it wasn't wired or lighted, the PO had just filled the hole with a spark plug.

 Refurbishing Original Hooters ,Both still working just need covers to be repaired and cleaned out and reset .They dont make quality hooters like this anymore .

Made up Adaptor to Mount Original Toyo Brake Servo and Double acting Master Cyl .
Had Original master fitted before with Remote Alfa style Servo .(very untidy ).

Original wiring Junction box mounted on inner fender for Headlights ,Bib lights ,Indicators .
Simplicity at its Best .
