Using 80 Series steering box ,and 75 Series Tie Rod ,Track rod ,Changed steering arms to 75 series as well .Tie Rod ends huge on 75 . Note size of steering system. No shortening of tie rod or Track rod .Thankfully 75 series fits straight in .Dont like welding such critical components .

Decided to fit Shock mount back in original position ,Had to grind away some areas for box to fit .The 75 UJ on steering rod is small compared to the 60 series so have more room to play with . Now busy on pipes and steering column .Then need to make new mount for Damper .

Assembled column . Fitted Steering Damper .didnt need to mod bracket for Damper .In full lock positions has 10mm travel left and 15 on other side . Road tested vehicle .big improvement with no play in system ,my old system was shagged . Steering is 3,5 turns lock to lock very similar to Std .Maybe 4,5 turns from 60 box better . Time will tell .
