I have just bought weather strips for the front doors and is waiting for the rear door strips from Specter.

Question: Do I use a special contact adhesive to fix them, or is the normal hardware store product good enough?

There is a special adhesive  (although it is a 3M product) so we should be able to get from 3M ZA
