I think the plat slag blasts perfectly - no clogging and you could probably re-use it once
Did AH's 2F Inlet and Exhaust manifold with it - came out too cool  8)

great stuff.. and it is cheap (well compared to the rest anyway) and no dust!

Grahame, not sure yet.. but I like the ones that come with the yellow shocks  :) ... but am /will also look at HC's. I need to do some  comparative pricing so as yet, no final conclusion.   :-\

And a little progress made today..






I must say, my crane works like an absolute charm!  Dont know what I would have done to remove the motor et al without it.

So, a few small things to remove from chassis, take axles off and off the chassis goes to sandblasting  ;D

This morning, stripped the gearbox from the 2F, cleaned the bellhousing and cover for prep for paint.









Flywheel looks OK, needs a clean up on the clutch plate surface, but not burred and no signs of blueing..  8)

Now I really need an engine stand..  :-\ loan or buy??

BTW you need to have the bellhousing mounted on the motor to mount it into an engine stand

How long will you need engine stand for ?? - If we plan it properly - we can go from yours to mine or mine to yours.
